Tek başına oğluyla yaşayan Burcu, son zamanlarda oğlunun yaşadığı halüsinasyonları konuşmak için bir gün oğlunun okulundaki rehberlik ofisine çağrılır. Oğlunun yaşadığı nöbetlerin çok daha köklü bir sorun vardır. 

A single mom in her early 30's, Burcu, lives together with her infant son who constantly sees hallucinations of a crawling woman at their house. When the school counselor starts digging to the root of the problem; a haunting reality is revealed.

Aşina (Familiar) is Yiğit's graduation short film from Bahçeşehir University as a Film & TV Major. It is the second collaboration between Yiğit and lead actress Yağmur Ilgım Öztekin.

This short film also marks the first collobration between Yiğit and Consulting Producer Nefes Polat as well as co-star of the short film Zamire Zeynep Kasapoğlu Özdemir. The film also stars Yiğit Öner as Ilgım Öztekin's character, Burcu's, son.

The short film was aesthetically inspired by films like James Wan's Insidious (2010) and Mike Flanagan's The Haunting of Hill House (2018)
