Duygu Eskişehir'de bir lise son sınıf öğrencisidir. Lisenin son aylarının gelmesiyle ve yazın
kapıda olmasıyla üniversite başvurularına hazırlanıyordur. Bir gece bir tramvay durağında beklerken bir çocukla tanışır ve bir yaz tatili tamamen değişir.

Duygu is a high school senior living in Eskişehir. As the last months of high school start to unfold, she starts to prepare her university applications. But one night, a boy she meets at the tram station, makes the following summer a whole another story.

The Night We Met was the first independent short film Yiğit made with a lead actress. 

It was filmed during the summer of 2020 after curfew restrictions started lifting.

Filming took place in Yiğit's second hometown of Eskişehir and was made with a crew of four, including the lead roles.

During the filming, lead actress Selin and Yiğit cycled through the streets of Eskişehir and filmed the short film together. It took two weeks altogether between August and September 2020 and was released on 16 September 2020 on Yiğit's YouTube channel.

It was the first collaboration between Selin and Yiğit, and marks the first acting experience for Selin.
