The Night We Met

Short film (2020) 

The Night We Met ("Tanıştığımız O Gece" in Turkish) is an 18 minute coming of age story.

It was filmed in Yiğit's and lead actress Selin Çukul's hometown: Eskişehir, a city next to the capital known for its Venice and Amsterdamesque aesthetic and structure. 

It is the story of two high schoolers, who meet at the Tram station one night and decide to spend their last days together before leaving for university.

It features songs from many of the prominent artists of the time, both Turkish and international, from Cigarettes After Sex to the Turkish band Büyük Ev Ablukada.

Film stars Selin Çukul and Yiğit Sarı.
